(meaning Celebration). The superstar Amitabh lives with his wife Jaya and also with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
Let us start with the unrevealed fact about bachchan’s residence that it is gifted by the Bollywood director, Ramesh Sippy, as remuneration for his work in the hit film of 1982 “Satte Pe Satta”. This iconic and busiest place in town- Jalsa is a twin-story building connected with the spiral staircase and has covered 10,125 sq. Ft of area. Hold a bit, are you more curious to know the actor’s inside of the mansion? Then your wait is over. Because today, we are taking you on a tour of the beautiful country house of Indian Megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Do you have ever visited the neighborhood of Juhu and stopped your taxi outside the Jalsa? Of course, yes! On a Cloud nine moment, it is! Imagine the moment when you click the pictures outside that huge and dark wooden gates and wait to capture (by chance) the glimpses of inside the mansion. The palace opens its gates every Sunday for the throng of fans and well-wishers to catch the sight of Amitabh Bachchan and family, as you can see in the picture. Followed by the main wooden gates, you’ll notice palm trees and shrubs on both sides of the driveway.
Inside the royal wooden gates, Jalsa features the potted plants and trees that give the lush greenery vibe to the opening of the home. Also, there is a small mandir alongside the entrance. And have a cosy seating area to enjoy the basking of the sun and quality time with the family.
Attached to the porch, the very first room of Jalsa is the Living room. It’s nothing less than the royal castle of Indian families. It truly illustrates the ambience of art and the true treasure to the art lover. Also, they have resonated their living space with full of oil and acrylic paintings, decorative artifacts from across the globe.
It is accentuated by large chandeliers, carpets, rugs and a comfortable couch to complement the interiors of a house. Bachchan has beautifully played with the colors and tones to create a picture shot place of home.

Though the luxurious artifacts, Amitabh Bachchan has a study area with elements such as a mini library, workstation and a huge couch to sit upon. One of the most fantastic attractions in Jalsa is the great wall of memories. As you can see, the wooden wall portrays the number of pictures relating to the life of AB and his family.
Amidst the countless amenities, Jalsa also features a fully functional gym area. The cine icon exercise daily, which has a vintage vibe with ethnic paintings on the wall. The entrance has an arch that showcases the royal setup, and yes, Big B works out with all the modern equipment’s in his gym.

The verandah or the garden space of Jalsa is a visual delight with all-over greenery in it. One can lay over the grass and have playtime, which Bachchan is doing with his granddaughter Aaradhya (as you can notice in the picture above).
